Stand With Survivors
Please help document each case of unlawful killing or disappearance in Punjab, by registering for our annual Appear for the Disappeared Walk, organized by both Ensaaf and Jakara Movement. This year’s walk will take place on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Lake Elizabeth, Central Park in Fremont, CA. Come stand with survivors, and take charge of our story.
At our annual Appear for the Disappeared Walk, members of the community will gather together to commemorate those who were disappeared in Punjab by Indian Security Forces during the Decade of Disappearances (1984 – 1995).
This year’s guest speaker will be Jagmeet Singh, MPP, Canada. Amasingh will also add a touch of magic at this year’s walk.
Please register by donating $35.00 to your own fundraising page, and also set a fundraising goal to help us raise $50K to support both Ensaaf and the Jakara Movement. So far, we’ve managed to raise $6,035. Help us raise $50.000 by March 28, 2015. If you cannot attend, walk locally with your friends or family, or fundraise online.
You can help save one testimony of disappearance or unlawful killing. We hope you will stand with survivors, and take charge of our story.
