Christian Science Monitor Publishes Ensaaf Op-Ed
Dear Human Rights Supporter,
On the 25th anniversary of India's suspension of the right to life in Punjab, the Christian Science Monitor has published an op-ed article by Ensaaf Co-Founder and Co-Director Sukhman Dhami. On March 30, 1988, India suspended Article 21 of its Constitution, which provides that no person shall be deprived of life or liberty without due process of law.

Help us continue working for truth and justice on behalf of victims who were disappeared and unlawfully killed by India's security forces. Register for the 5K walk, Appear for the Disappeared, on April 6, 2013 in Fremont, New York, London, or your city. Please encourage your friends and family to register for $35, set a fundraising goal, and create a fundraising page. You can join us as a virtual participant, as well.
We are counting on you to help us commemorate 500 victims of disappearances through this event. Each registrant will receive a short bio of a person who was disappeared in Punjab by Indian security forces during the Decade of Disappearances.
Appear for the Disappeared will also feature live performances by Jagmeet 'Hoodini' Singh and Gunjiv 'Baagi' Singh, as well as a poster display of artwork based on the Decade of Disappearances.
