Reach Out To Your Villages: Report Abuse by Punjab Police

(Pleasanton, CA)

Khalra Mission Organisation, the Punjab Human Rights Organisation, and Ensaaf have released a new web-based human rights tool to help empower victims to report police abuse at ReportPunjabPolice.org. This website makes it possible for anyone who has experienced abuse, or anyone who wants to report abuse on behalf of a victim, to easily submit a form based on United Nations reporting standards.

You can submit an abuse report, in Punjabi or English, on behalf of another person. Since mid-October 2015, Sikhs in the diaspora have discussed accounts of abuse occurring in their villages in Punjab--now is your chance to share that information with human rights organizations.

By giving the tools to everyday citizens to report police brutality, we are moving another step closer towards an era of accountability.

This website will be a game changer in the story of Punjab. By giving the tools to everyday citizens to report police brutality, we are moving another step closer towards an era of accountability. Victims will have the option to submit their reports to the UN through this tool.

We ask you share ReportPunjabPolice.org with your networks to help us spread the word. It is with your contribution that we are able to develop tools like this. Please take a moment and check out our #WhyIGiveToEnsaaf campaign and share your reasons for giving.

Thank you!
